Ah, yes, parents, all those songs that your children finally stopped singing are going to be back and louder than ever. Disney's all time animated best hit film ever, Frozen, is being followed up with Frozen 2... well, first it was Frozen Fever then Olaf's Frozen Adventure and however many other mini movies they made... anyways... Frozen 2...actually it looks better like Frozen II, will be hitting US and Uk theaters on November 22nd, 2019. So, how are they building hype and millions of dollars? Merchandise!!
Stores and grocery stores and like every where that sells things immediately became stocked with Frozen II stuff. For the first film, all the tens of billions of pieces of merchandise came out after the movie was released- with the enlightenment to companies and Disney of just how big this movie was. This time, however, they are prepared.
Target stores released a mass amount of Frozen II goodies on October 3rd-4th. Some stores got a little end-cap or aisle, whereas stores such as the Target I work at got this:
As you can see, we took it pretty seriously. Here is more of what is in that massive collection:
So, yeah, lots of dolls, bed stuff, plush, dolls, pencil cases, costumes, dolls . . . I personally got this one:
I mean, look at the horse; it looks awesome!! I will likely be reviewing lots of Frozen II stuff for a while because there are bound to be tons more coming out.
So, there are just some of the Frozen II things that have been released at just Target, alone. So, what else is there? I already mentioned grocery stores -cookies with Elsa on them- and bread packages with Elsa throwing snowflakes all over the bag. You know, it's the typical marketing strategy businesses use in partner with movies, Disney being one of the biggest. You take your kids to the store and all of a sudden every single thing in your cart has a Frozen related thing on it because, simply, you decided to bring your kids.

So, what else do we got comin'? Well, we know Funko has stuff. And stuff indeed have they released . . .
Here are the "commons" that will likely be released everywhere (Target, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, etc). And, just an FYI, I have the Water Nokk (the horse) and it is CLEAR BLUE!! You can see through it like where it is attached and everything. So, it gives that "water" illusion, but it can become pretty tacky the longer you look at it:
So, yeah, just a heads up before you think it is a solid blue figure! And, as always, some stores get special figures, called "Exclusives," which are just available through the particular store:
Next up, we got the littles . . .
Funko Mystery Minis are both fun and annoying as heck. They are all cute, but you don't know which one you are going to get. Here is what they have so far for Frozen II. ^^
Next up, we have plushies! I personally am not a Funko Plushie collector, but they are very cute and well made. These are likely to be released at Hot Topic and Target, for sure, and I am sure Amazon would have them as well.
There are so many things I didn't even bring up in this post simply because there is just so much. Like, the actual Disney Store, for example. Holy Fro-ly. Here are a few of my favorite things so far from there:
The mug is front and back, the shirt is a women's night shirt, horse (Nokk) plush, ornament, and the Disney Animator's Collection Deluxe Doll Set with Elsa and Anna and a change of clothes (not online yet).
Ok, I guess I will stop here. We haven't even gotten to Hallmark, yet . . .
