Ok, so . . .everyone and their mom is freaking out about the new Frozen II trailer.
ELSA. HAS. HER. HAIR. TOTALLY. DOWN.

A lot of fans have posted several images comparing Elsa's hair from the first movie to the trailer that we all just watched . . .

The first time we see Elsa is as a child and her hair is literally up in a bun while sleeping. Her hair continues to be up throughout the film, all the way until she yeets her crown across the ice castle. And even then, her hair is still braided. More free than up, yes, but still held together.
Suddenly, in the Frozen II trailers, we get multiple glimpses of Elsa with her hair in a loose ponytail and then completely free and all the way down.
Many are saying this symbolizes Elsa's freedom and acceptance of herself over the course of her adventures; from a timid "conceal don't feel" to a wild and free "into the unknown" type of character development.
What do you think? What is Elsa's fate in their new adventure? Will she return to the kingdom to continue her rule as Queen? Or stay in the Enchanted Forest and live freely?

*** I made none of these images or collages. They were found by various posts throughout Instagram and I do not know the original creators ***
@heathermeeker14 the end of the newest movie! Will she come back from the Enchanted Forest; I meant. And that's an interesting view on the subject! I like her hair either way; she's a gorgeous character!
Wait a minute at the end of the first movie she did return to her kingdom. I’m confused. Also this whole hair thing is ridiculous. I feel like we’re teaching girls now that power is “short hair and ‘all my hero’s are women’”. Girls should just wear hair however they want, what makes them comfortable. Elsa is an ice queen with gorgeous white hair that fits her flowy image
